When Taking Samples:

PATscan-Ward will duplicate the information from the wristband straight onto a label. The whole process takes less than a second.
The Brenmoor PATscan-Ward printer/scanner and label solution is supplied already hard coded to work straight out of the box. Use it to scan a bar-code on the patient identity wristband and immediately a label with the correct patient demographic is produced. The label is then applied to varies sample tubes or bottles, specific patient drugs, swabs and anything else that needs to be identified as belonging to a specific patient.
Scan the wristband and print the label – It really is that simple.
PATscan-Ward is designed to work with any patient identity wristband as long as it is printed with a 2D (dimensional) barcode containing patient information.
A 2D bar-code is smaller and can hold a lot more information than a standard linear barcode. The vast majority of printers used to print patient bracelets can quickly and easily be set up to print 2D barcodes.
