Before the Anaesthetic:

PATscan-Theatre will duplicate the information from the wristband straight onto a STAB (skin safe) label and then back onto a wristband after the procedure. The whole process takes only a few seconds.
The Brenmoor PATscan-Theatre printer/scanner and wristband/label solution is supplied already hard coded to work straight out of the box. Use it to scan a bar-code on the patient identity wristband and immediately a STAB label with the correct patient demographic is produced. The STAB label is then applied the patients skin. After the procedure the label is scanned, a wristband produced which is attached to the wrist and the label removed.
Scan the patient and print the wristband or label – It really is that simple.
PATscan-Theatre is designed to work with any patient identity wristband as long as it is printed with a 2D (dimensional) barcode containing patient information.
A 2D bar-code is smaller and can hold a lot more information than a standard linear barcode. The vast majority of printers used to print patient bracelets can quickly and easily be set up to print 2D barcodes.
